As Elon and Trump feud and Elon reignited flames with a reference to "The Epstein Diaries" which threaten to further crack open the vault of secrets. While ICE agents disappear migrants from the street without due process. Trump does what authoritarians do best—create chaos to drown out truth.

Now National Guard troops descend on Los Angeles under the pretext of “restoring order,” while ICE agents hiding behind masks round up migrants without due process like it’s 1938.

The protests? A desperate scream against the tyranny of snatching migrants off the street. The response? A boots-on-the-ground distraction - against the wishes of the State Of California Governor. I'm not going to get drawn into the debate over whether the President has the right to call up the National Guard. Let's just say it would be a stretch to justify the action under one of the three possible scenarios.

So let's go back to how this began. It started with controversial and very public ICE raids on the streets of a deep blue city. ICE agents wearing masks to avoid recognition and accountability. No due process. A public show of state and federal confrontation, a war of words between Homan and Newsome. And now Trump and Newsome. Peaceful protests escalated into pockets of violence. Can you recognize a pattern of crisis creation, instigation and escalation by Trump and his allies? He told us he was going to do this during his 2024 campaign. Not surprisingly, it's happening now. Sound familiar? It should, circa 2020 and Trump 1.0.

Don't get me wrong. Those breaking laws should be arrested and charged on the spot. Zero tolerance. But peaceful protesters should not need to worry about expressing their opinions. What better way to sow fear among those peaceful citizens than to bring in the National Guard to patrol the streets?

Trump’s strategy and tactics? Ignore the scandal and corruption. Watch me flex my power instead. "Wag the dog."

But no amount of troops or trigger-happy optics can cover up the corruption and authoritarian desires of this regime. Today immigrants are being rounded up and deported. How long before Americans are rounded up, because they simply disagree with the government's policies or ideologies? Next steps: The Insurrection Act and Martial Law?
